Cover song of the legendary Cortex band with a composition by pianist and composer Alain Mion.
Sampled over and over by many, mainly withtout being credited, like MF Doom, Wiz Khalifa, Rick Ross, Tyler The Creator... Cortex deserves more than to be victim of musical pillage which is not giving to the band a respectfull recognition to the original piece of art.
Mr Alain Mion generally don't like what beatmakers do with his music.
It's why Medline decided to cover one of this mythic album song and asked to Mr Mion if it was okay to do this.
The result is a real cover version, played entirely by Medline, replacing the beautifull voice of Mireille Dalbray by Medline's flute.
Medline choosed to use an electric piano instead of the classic piano, and choosed a more electrified direction for his version.
At the end, the song is respected in its original identity and soul, and the song is passing thru the ages giving always more emotions and feelings to discover.
